Guest Information Page

  1. ​​Names: Please submit the names of all ticket-holder in the survey shown on this page.
  2. Dress: Although no ticket-holder will be refused entry for not dressing up "right", we really do prefer people to dress up, especially given that these are intended to be grand and formal events. Obviously, if you're a wizard or witch, you'll probably prefer to wear your dress robes, and if you're a muggle, then YB1 is a 'black-tie preferred' event and YB2 is a 'white-tie preferred' event, given that it's for New Year's Eve. Here's a guide for you if you like. 
  3. Hotels: Codes for partner hotels are shown below: just click on the hotel's logo and it'll direct you to their DEN Hotel Partner booking page, indicating the price, address, date and so on. So shop around if you like, but we think you'll like these. If your group is larger than 8 people, we can also direct you to an AirBNB Team House - just email us and we'll get you the link. 
  4. Parking: There will be valet parking at no charge at both The DEN events in Downtown St. Louis, with Hufflepuff valets, complete with black-and-yellow bow-ties. You do not have to use the valet if you don't want to, and no tipping is expected. Parking information (for those not using the valet) is shown at the bottom of this webpage. 
  5. Tipping: Although our valets, bartenders and other staff are aware that we have advised our guests that tipping is NOT expected, we do understand that many people will still want to tip anyway, but please note that we are seeking to make this a 'leave your money at home' event, so you can just forget about everything and just dive in and have a great time. 
  6. Tickets:  Please go to the Ticket Information Page.  Every ticket-holder will be required to have ID, except kids of course. Remember, children aged 17 or under are not allowed to attend YB1 or YB1.75 without an adult accompanying them. YB2 is for adults only. Either the ticket-purchaser or some other nominated adult, authorized by the purchaser (by email from the email address used for the purchase) needs to come and pick up the tickets for the entire group purchased by one purchaser. 
  7. Disabilities: The events are fully ADA compliant with ramps and hydraulic lifts if needed. 
  8. Food: The upcoming survey will ask about food restrictions and allergies.
  9. Communication: Emails will be sent out every couple of weeks until the events themselves, but it will mostly reflect this webpage.
  10. Charities: We want to express our gratitude to you for buying tickets to an event that will be raising money for not just 1, but 6 great charities! Actually, the Yule Ball Committee has decided that each Yule Ball attendee will be asked to name any charity they wish to support (it does not have to be the 6 charities originally proposed) in the event that enough money is made, and profits will be donated to the various charities pro-rated according to the frequency with which each one was named. 
  11. Attend a second Yule Ball with the Two-Fer Promotion: 
Eligibility: You must be a ticket-holder for YB1, YB1.75 or YB2. 
Offer: You get refunded for the lower priced of two tickets when you buy at least two more Yule Ball tickets (either Yb1 or YB2). 


If you'd like to take advantage of the Two-fer promotion, simply let us know by email and we will then refund you the discount, once you're as a verified existing guest. If you know anyone else who'd like to attend, please encourage them to do so. 

*Please note that the refund issued on a 'two-fer' will be for the lower priced ticket.
